These are scenes of Michael DiGioia as the womanizing, lounge singer, Uncle Gene, from the 2016 Thin Edge Films/Breaking Glass Pictures, THIRSTY. This gender-bending, anti-bullying film is based on the life of Scott Townsend, who went on to become the well-known, drag-artist THIRSTY BURLINGTON (who specializes in Cher impersonations among others). Scott played himself as adult-Scotty, while Jonny Beauchamp played teenage-Scotty and, Cole Canzano played child-Scotty. Scott's mom was played by Deirdre Lovejoy. Written by Laura Kelber, Directed by the late Margo Pelletier and, produced by Lisa Thomas of Thin Edge Films.

Selected scenes from the short-film, THE CAFE, written & directed by Elizabeth Phillipson-Weiner (aka, P.W.) produced by Janella Lacson, DP Frances Chen and Production Design Zack Handler. The Cafe was an official selection at CANNES COURT METRAGE in 2015. This clip features, actors Andrea Schirmer, Michael DiGioia, Clara Wong, Onika Day and Shane Taylor. THE CAFE symbolizes a modern-day purgatory and Michael DiGioia plays the manager (Lucifer's Assistant). It is decided here, in the cafe, who transitions on to hell, depending on how many demerits one receives while in purgatory.

A drug addicted, abusive mother, Jane (played by Kimberly Bailey) is trying to reconnected with her husband John (played by Michael DiGioia) and her son, John Jr. (played by Abraham Susman).
